SLA awards tenders for Dempsey Road properties to Power Moves and Florte Design
Power Moves’ quote features centers like a pilates studio, beauty center, a café, and spaces providing health guidance and other wellness-based professional services. The center is going to also deliver community campaigns such as outdoor exercise and meditation courses, walkathons and concept pop-up activities to lure crowds.
The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have recently granted two particular tenders for houses along Dempsey Road. Both tenders include a starting five-year rent, with the option to prolong for a second phrase of 4 years.

Power Moves won the tender for 13 Dempsey Road (# 01-05 and # 01-07) and 13A Dempsey Road. The estates, which are authorized for wellness and fitness purpose, inhabit an acreage of 9,657 sq ft and have a mixed projected gross floor area (GFA) of 8,783 sq ft.
The units at 13 Dempsey Road occupy an approximated acreage of 5,423 sq ft and have a GFA of around 4,905 sq ft.
Power Moves is a pilates center that at the moment operates at Novena Specialist Centre. The studio forwarded a proposal of $41,200 per month (pm), beating 4 other proposals for the place.
Florte Design’s proposal of $17,904 pm represented the 3rd best rate proposal got for the real estate. However, it had the highest bundled score based on both price (which brought a 40% weightage) and quality (60% weightage).
“Our efforts to present new innovative principles to Dempsey are starting to form,” states Carrie Wong, director of business planning and development division at SLA.
Power Moves’ proposal of $41,200 pm works with a 8.4% premium over the next highest bid of $38,000 pm that was submitted by Lotusonwater Feng Shui. Other bidders feature Theta Collective ($22,000 pm), The Smok Hous ($13,777 pm) and Center Solutions ($7,007 pm).
The tenders for both sites closed on May 29 and were assessed based upon cost and premium aspects.
Curio Home Accents sent the best rate bid of $40,000 pm. Other bidders include Lotusonwater Feng Shui ($21,700 pm), Maywell Lifestyles ($13,244 pm), V-Zug Singapore ($12,500 pm), Elliott’s Antiques ($12,000 pm), Estudio Technologies ($10,800 pm) and Petizen ($5,000 pm).
SLA awarded a different tender for 13 Dempsey Road (# 01-01, # 01-02 and # 01-06) to Florte Design. The company manages native flower center The Florté. It surpassed seven other tender proposals for the property, that is accepted for creative lifestyle applications.
The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) had already launched both tenders between March and April, seeking to even more improve Dempsey’s track record as an one-of-a-kind lifestyle and wellness surround.
